Morley's Final Catalogue: Not known from the county in Morley's time. First UK record was in 1984.

Recent Suffolk Status: Recent colonist. First Suffolk record was in 2010, at Landguard, Felixstowe (N. Odin). Colonized the county from 2014 onwards and is becoming fairly widespread along the coast and Sandlings. Still spreading inland into the west of the county.

Life history: Double-brooded.

Identification: Juniper carpet has a dark streak running from the forewing tip rather than a series of black dashes.

Habitat: Gardens.

Recorded in 27 (47%) of 58 10k Squares.
First Recorded in 2010.
Last Recorded in 2023.
